Goblin Valley travel post

About three to four weeks ago I went down to Moab, Utah for the weekend. I went with my Dad, Stepmom, Stepsister, and two dogs. It was fun to get out of the house for a bit, and we tried to pack as much as we could into two days. One of the things we did was go to Goblin Valley. Goblin Valley is known for its “hoodoos” which are sandstone pillars that have been eroded over million of years, and they are some of the largest in the world! When I went I had a great time. We didn’t stay for long but it was such a cool experience seeing all the rock formations. Also at night if you go their to stargaze you can see so many stars and its absolutely beautiful site!

Goblin Valley is located near the town of Hanksville, and is approximately 216 miles south of Salt Lake City. I would definitely go back if I’m in the area because of what a fun experience it was the first time.
